Common questions

Do I need to sign in?

No. Choose Just follow a team instead and paste your team id, and everything works except changing your team — live points, projected bonus, leagues, fixtures, price moves and stats. Signing in is only needed to save a lineup, captain or transfer.

Where do I find my team id?

Open your team on the Fantasy Premier League site. The number after /entry/ in the address is your team id.

Why does sign-in open a Premier League page?

Because your password is theirs, not ours. BFL has no password field and never sees your password — you sign in on account.premierleague.com and the app keeps only the resulting session token, in your device's secure credential store.

How do I sign out?

Settings → Your team → Sign out. This removes the session token from your device. You keep following the same team in read-only mode.

Sign-in with Google is refused

Google does not allow its sign-in inside an in-app browser. Set a password on your Premier League account and use Continue to Premier League, or sign in with Apple, Facebook or X instead.

My points look different from the official app

BFL projects bonus points from the live BPS table before the Premier League confirms them, so during a match your score can be ahead of theirs. Once bonus is confirmed the two agree. You can turn the projection off in Settings → Projected bonus points.

The app cannot load anything

BFL reads directly from the Fantasy Premier League API. If that is down or rate limiting, the app has nothing to show. Try Settings → Refresh all data, and if that fails, again in a few minutes.
